My Little Man is 10 Months....

Time is flying by and my baby is getting so big. He is such a little lover and has the best personality. He is standing and taking a few steps so we should have a walker soon. It seems like yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital and now he is starting to walk. My monthly stickers are becoming a real challenge. I was able to get one picture before he ripped it off and tore it up.

Easter Fun

Aubree had so much fun dying eggs this Easter. I have so much fun doing all of the holiday traditions with my own kids, that I did as a kid. I now know all the fun and excitement my Mom had with my sisters and I. My only wish is she was here to see her Grandkids enjoy the fun also. Little Marcus didn't dye eggs this year mostly because he was taking a nap when we started and didn't wake up in a very good mood. Aubree put her egg's in every single color we had, which gave her a " not so pretty" egg. We even did some glitter egg's, which turns out wasn't a good idea.... Aubree ate all the glitter off the eggs. Guess I can say my little girl is all glitter and sparkles....

I did get Marcus to sit with the bunny... Aubree would have nothing to do with it

Catching those sweet moments

I was cleaning house today, which is a complete waste of my time and these two were awfully quiet which is usually a bad thing, but I walked in to see her reading Marcus a book. He just loves his big sissy right now and I hope it stays like that. Check out Aubree's clothes or lack of I should say. She does have some bloomers around her waist?!? She is already throwing a fit to pick out her own clothes. By the way... The room was clean ...

Happy St. Patty's Day

Marcus and I spent our first night away from the kids this weekend. We took a trip down to San Diego for their St. Patty's Day festivities. While we had a ton of fun, we missed the kids something fierce. We found ourselves watching videos of the kids when we woke up in the morning. We definitely missed our morning cuddles. I was really worried the kids would have a hard time being away from us that long, but they had a really good time with their Grandma and Auntie.

Cousin Love

Jordan and Aubree are more like siblings than cousins. We often catch him setting her up to get in trouble and most of the time blaming her for the things he did. But they have such a cute love for each other. Jordan is at the point in his life where he wants to be "cool" like his friends. He doesn't want his Mom or me showing ANY kind of love or affection towards him especially in public. But he will freely hold his cousins hand and love on her in front of the " cool" people. This morning he wrote Aubree this note and she gave it to me to read to her. It's a little hard to read so here it goes in his words (and spelling)

Aubree you are a very nice cousin but I no how you fell when I tell on you but this time I am going to stand up for you love Jordan

His translation was ; if Aubree gets in trouble for something, I will take the blame and say it was me.

Cereal Please

I should always know when Aubree is quiet it's likely she is doing something she shouldn't be. Yesterday she learned how to open the food cabinet and is now helping herself to what she wants.

PaPa Turns 83

On Monday we celebrated Pa's 83rd Birthday. I have to say we probably have the best Grandpa. He has been such an influential person in mine and my sister's life's. We could never express how much gratitude we have for this man. We love you Pa and hope to spend many more birthdays with you even if you turn 22 every year :)

Welcome to our crazy life...

I'm starting this off a little late being that Aubree will be 2 in a few weeks and Marcus will be celebrating his 1st birthday right after! Better late then never; which has become a staple around my house these days. Marcus and I will be married 13 years this June and for all but 2 of them it was just him and I, needless to say our life has become quite busy and some days a little hectic. With that being said we wouldn't change a thing and could not be any happier being parents. Let the story begin...
